Dr Daniel Allan

Dr Dan Allan grew up in Victoria and started his career in the Royal Australian Navy as a navigator, air craft controller and boarding officer.  He finally settled on dentistry as his chosen path and studied at the University of Sydney before continuing to work as a dental officer in the Australian Defence Force, travelling extensively with ships and troops through South East Asia and the Middle East. In 2011, Dr Allan completed a one-year residency in the Oral Surgery Department at the University of Western Australia.  He then took up roles in Darwin and Sydney, working within various hospitals and providing oral surgery services.

In 2016, Dr Allan moved to the Coast with his family for the lifestyle.  He has worked in both private practice and has been a clinical educator at Griffith University.  He has spent the last five years teaching the oral surgery Masters program, helping to develop the next generation of oral surgeons.
